This week on the charts, Gaga has continued to break records as “Telephone” becomes her 6th consecutive No.1 single. Beyonce also gains her 6th No.1 single as a result of “Telephone” reaching the top. Gaga and Beyonce now tie Mariah Carey with most No.1 singles. “Telephone” also gains momentum in the Hot 100 chart, where it has reached a new peak of No.9. Also of interest is that “Paparazzi” has gained sales, most likely as a result of the “Telephone” video connection. “Telephone” should see more increase next week, as it currently sits at No.4 in the iTunes store.
“The Fame” and “The Fame Monster” both hold their spots at No.8 and 19 respectively.
