We’ve been getting some tips from some VERY dedicated Monsters who queued all day and literally all night to see Lady Gaga’s Today Show performance, only to get segregated by the security because they “appeared too dirty to be on camera.”
What!?!
Jordan Pack, fellow Monster and friend of Lady Gaga Live writer, made his maiden voyage to NYC just so he could see Gaga’s performance! He and some close friends were one of the first 30 people in line the DAY before the concert, and were promised front-row access, only to be herded to an area of Rockefeller Plaza where he couldn’t even see her!
He’s written a very detailed account of his segregation, the boos and hisses from the crowd which can be heard at :30 seconds in to the “You and I” performance, and the blatant discrimination for being one of the most dedicated Gaga fans in the world.

Here are some excerpts. Let’s make sure Lady Gaga sees this and doesn’t EVER let this happen to her most loyal fans again!!!
I’ve never seen a group of fans be treated so poorly in my life. Monsters got screwed by The Today Show and we all seriously felt SEGREGATED.
The Rockefeller Plaza security people guaranteed us that we would be able to see, however we were not. We were a part of the first 30 people in the line of over 20,000 and we waited for 20 hours and yet still could not see. Doesn’t anyone else think that’s extremely fucked up?
After all of this had happened and little monsters had waited over 20 hours to not able to see some really amazing performances, we soon found out that monsters we had waited in line with overheard a reporter who was in the front area saying that “The Today Show didn’t want her fans up front because we were crazy, dirty, & sweaty from waiting in line all day.” Are you fucking kidding me?
I don’t know if this will get around over the internet or eventually get to GaGa or anyone that matters, but I really think monsters should help spread the word about this because The Today Show is seriously a fucking joke.
Watch and listen to the “You and I” performance where you can hear a very audible crowd of people boo’ing and chanting at :30 seconds in. So sad that the most dedicated fans were treated like New York garbage!

I was at the show. The people did not boo for the reason you think it was. I was viewing the back of the stage. There was a big Manhattan 50 bus (yes, I even remember the number) the bus got in front of all of us and that was when the boo’ing began and it lasten for like 12 seconds until the bus moved away.
Your article is such trash!
