Cruella de Vil with an evil twist!

This will be the September issue. They promise more details coming on Monday, too!
The latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine features a cover story on Lady Gaga. Check out the gorgeous covershot below, then see the full article here!

Gaga plans to announce the title of her new album — due out early next year — at midnight on New Year’s Eve. “I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo,” she says. “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly. Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.” As for the subject matter of the music, Gaga says she’s moved on with writing songs about her quest for fame to crafting tunes with an angry, perhaps political bent. “Why are we still talking about ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’?” she says. “It’s like, what fucking year is it? It makes me crazy! And I have been for three years baking cakes — and now I’m going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly. The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.”
After a huge vote from all of the fans and media public of the world, Gaga has landed herself on the cover of Time’s 100 Most Influential People cover along side President Bill Clinton and Didier Drogba.
The issue is on news stands today.
Don’t get us wrong, one of us here at LadyGagaLive.Net is a huge Christina fan. The Back to Basics tour was and still is the best show we have ever seen (haven’t been to Monster Ball yet).
However, if Christina wants to distance herself from her obviously Gaga-inspired look and sound, she really needs to try a little harder.
Below is an image of Christina in the “Not Myself Tonight” video, wearing the exact same Atsuko Kudo latex dress Gaga has worn and been photographed in many times before!

MTV has a report online from a recent Philadelphia Phillies game where their mascot – the Philly Phanatic – danced to Gaga:
During a pitching change in the middle of the Phillies’ Opening Day game against the Washington Nationals last week, the Phanatic danced to Gaga’s hit “Bad Romance.” He (or she — it has never been fully established what sex the Phanatic is, or if is even has a sex) even donned the red lace outfit that Gaga notoriously wore during the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards (the outfit that ultimately prevented her from delivering an acceptance speech). Of course, Gaga wore it slightly better than the Phanatic did, but not everybody can get away with Gaga’s spirit of experimentation.
