Details on “Judas” Video Emerge, Gaga Playing Mary Magdalene

Choreographer, and now co-director of the new Gaga video for “Judas” LaurieAnn Gibson gave some details about the upcoming song and video to MTV:
“I will tell you now, first off, I’m Christian, and my career is evidence of God in my life, and I think that most people are already thinking that Gaga and the blasphemy and they’re premeditating the approach and I think they’ll be very shocked to find out how huge and really groundbreaking the message is and how freeing the message is for all the right reasons,” she said. “And it’s really going to shock the world.”
She also revealed that Norman Reedus (above) will play Judas, while Gaga plays Mary Magdalene.

Gaga was recently on the Gayle King show where she announced some pretty exciting news!
There will be 2 versions of the Born This Way video! The first will be the album version of the song which will be released on Monday at 11am!
The second video will be a “stripped down” version of the song (maybe the a cappella version she has been singing at the Monster Ball?) and will be available on iTunes. There will also be an mp3 available to download. What’s great is that Gaga’s profit from the song will go to an anti-bullying charity! No word on when the second version of the song will be available.
How amazing is that!? Can’t wait to see what she comes up with!

Gaga To Create Theatrical Release Music Video?

There have been a lot of rumors over the last year about Gaga wanting to be part of movies or creating a music video feature film, so take this with a grain of salt.
According to StarPulse, Gaga wants Bryan Singer (X-Men, X2, Superman Returns) to direct a feature length film as an extended music video. We think this is an AMAZING idea with an AMAZING director and would love to see Gaga on the big screen a la Michael Jackson!
We aren’t sure why this hasn’t been done already! What do you guys think? Would you go see a 2 hour music video from Gaga?
